L'oreal Extraordinaire Color Riche Liquid Lipsticks

Let's talk these newly launched L'oreal Extraordinaire Color Riche liquid lipsticks. After seeing these gorgeous lip products advertised on TV, and reading countless good reviews, being the confessed lipstick addict that I am I got sucked in and knew I had to give these a try myself.

These beautiful liquid lipsticks are described as a 'new generation of lip colour' containing a fusion of precious oils combined with intense pigments giving the lips vibrant colour pay off like a lipstick, magnified shine of a gloss! Whilst smoothing the lips like a lip balm. This 3 in 1 product Sounds like every lipstick lovers dream right!

L'oreal Extraordinaire are available in 9 shades here in the UK.
My picks were..

601- Nude Ballet

A classy nude colour that would look flattering on almost any skin tone. A lovely natural everyday shade.

201- Rose Symphony

A stunning pink rose shade with a subtle amount of gold shimmer running through!
Perfect shade for spring/summer months!

304- Ruby Opera

A sophisticated deep ruby red with amazing colour pay off, perfect for rocking that red lip look daytime or evening!

I've been absolutley loving these lippy's! They are so lightweight and wearable for the summer months without being drying, you can genuinely feel the oil based formula moisturising your lips whilst your wearing it which is lovely! They apply quite thick, the colours are so rich and creamy, yet with that not too sticky on the lips. The scent I would say is somewhere between fruity and floral which personally I like though some people may find it a little over powering.

The sleek gold packaging is pretty posh looking for a drugstore lipstick, which was probably another aspect that dragged me in with these! There is a little display of the contents colour on the side and base of the tube which could come in pretty handy with storage and picking out your colour preference. The applicator is a sort of curved tear drop shaped soft fluffy wand that picks up plenty of product.

I got my L'oreal Extrodinaire Liquid Lipsticks from Boots they have a 3 for 2 offer on at the minute so at £8.99 each I bagged a bargin on the 3 tempting me to get all 9!

Have you tried any of the L'oreal Extraordinare Color Riche Liquid Lippys?
What did you think?

Soap & Glory - The Breakfast Scrub Review

Morning all!

After weeks of countless strolls through the Soap & Glory isle at boots just to get a sniff of this stuff, I finally caved and purchased it! I will admit I did buy this product mainly because of it's 'heaven scent' I figured if my showers could smell this good this product would already be on a win! Before we even get to the 'nitty gritty' im in a funny mood this morning please excuse! Though I do have faith judging by my previous Soap & Glory purchases that this product wouldn't let me down.

The Breakfast Scrub is part of Soap & Glory's Award Winning Smoothie Star range and this 300ml tub retails for £8.00. The scrub contains oat, shea butter and sugar body smoother with organic cupuacu bio scrubs, bananas, almond and honey extract. I guess this kind of explains its yummy scent! The scent is described as 'maple' and reminds me of straight up American pancakes drowned in maple syrup! its Lushous! As temping as it gets DO NOT EAT this product as I imagine it doesnt taste as good as it smells.

How I use; Firstly fake tan lovers! I would highly reccomend this scrub for prepping your skin before applying your tan, it will remove any rough skin that causes patchiness and doesn't contain any oil, yet it leaves the skin looking perfectly polished after use, Winner!
Whilst in the shower I scoop out a generous amount in to my hand, rub them together then gently work it over my damp skin in circular motions. The consistancy is pretty thick and gritty to begin with but is pretty easy to work with when applied.

Whilst applying you can really feel the Shea butter and sugar smoothing your skin which is lovely! My hands and skin felt so silky after it was all rinsed off and my skin looked amazing! Another plus for this product is it's not as harsh and abrasive on the skin as some exvoliaters I have used in the past which is perfect for those with sensitive skin. The scent  sticks around which was what i was hoping for, it does get a little more mild after rinsing it off which is expected when using any shower products
but the milder scent deffinatly lingered around on my skin for a long while afterwards.

This was the first tub of The Breakfast Scrub i have tried and i must say its my favourite Soap & Glory product to date! i will deffinatly be repurchasing.

What are your Soap & Glory faves?
i would love to hear your recomendations,
Also if you have tried this i would love to hear what you thought?

Have a lovely weekend!

#OOTD | A Little Lace Goes A Long Way

Sunshine seems to be making a regular appearance in Wales lately, which is lovely! Not only does this mean keeping my tan topped up from holiday but getting great use out of the clothes I took too! Summer is all about bright pops of colour for me and this outfit is all over that!

Firstly let's talk the pop of colour itself, This Orange high neck ribbed crop top I bought from Riverisland is perfect! adding brightness to any outfit for summer and looks lovely dressed up or down for daytime or evening. I believe RiverIsland also stock this style in White, Black and Yellow too. The statement necklace I am wearing is also from Riverisland. I'm all for bold statement necklaces at the minute I feel they can really pull together an outfit and this one does just that. My watch is Micheal Kors Gold plated bracelet watch i love it so much I wear it daily so its likely to be in most of my OOTD's i had mine as a gift for christmas from earnest jones which i will link below for you.

I love almost anything lace when it comes to clothing pieces all year around, they always look so feminine and pretty! Needless to say this Cream lace skirt sold me instantly whilst having a holiday shop in H&M around a month ago. It was just there screaming out 'buy me!' So I had to. This material is ideal for the summer particularly because it's lovely and light wearing. As you can see in the pictures the skirt is layered, the bottom layer being a light stretchy polyester material and the top layer being the beautiful floral patterned lace, i believe H&M have the exact same one in Black both being such versatile colours you can pair them with almost anything!

Lastly my summer is never complete without a pair of sparkly sandles! It's like a religion of mine! And this year I was on a win.. I literally felt like I had looked everywhere in stores and online for what I wanted and couldn't find the perfect pair. I then came across tanyalee boutique through twitter @tanyaleexxx and my search stopped there! oh my goodness they sell everything from fashion accessories to bikinis and I was spoilt for choice with thier sandles! I will link the website below for you girls it's deffinatly worth checking out. Finally after a huge debate on what pair to get I chose the ones pictured and I love them! I will never be stuck for pretty sandles again:)

June Beauty Wishlist

I've slacked so bad on blog posts latley, I do apologise! This month has been such a busy month for me, with returning from my holiday, changing up my job and getting Dollybird Glam a much needed revamp! I haven't had much time to get posts up. I have lots more lined up so keep your eyes peeled! Here's a few beauty products I've had my eye on this month...

Macadamia deep repair hair mask
I actually don't know why I haven't already tried this hair mask! I've easily had my eye on it for at least a year!!! Yes a year I think it's about time I actually admit defeat. I've seen so many people talk highly of this product over You-Tube and blogs It must be well worth the price tag.

Ysl Rouge Volupte Radiant Lipstick #32 Corail Jalouse
It's summer! That time of year where I get drawn in to everything coral when it comes to makeup. I've had my eye on this gorgeous shade of lippy this spring/summer and I feel the only thing that has stopped me is the heafty price tag! Knowing my love for lipstick il only get addicted! Though I can see me purchasing several in the near future after all 'you don't know until you try';)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade - Chocolate
Another great product I have had my eye on for a long long while and can say I will 100% be investing! Brows to me are a huge deal, if my brows are good pretty much everything else falls into place. I've seen so many great reviews on Anastasia's brow products and I can't say I've seen a bad one! I haven't yet invested in a higher end brow product as the one I am using at the minute pretty much works perfect for me but if this makes my brows anything like the girls I've seen to use this it's worth every penny!

NARS Lipgloss' - Turkish Delight, Orgasm
I actually anger myself, few months back I had these two lipglosses' in my basket online, going through the checkout realising it was £7 or more for delivery I put it off. Only today have I realised I was on '.com' instead of '.co.uk' mare!!!
Turkish Delight - a pink/nude shade that suits almost any skin tone, even Kim Kardashian approves!
Orgasm - Peachy pink with shimmer need I say more!

Urban Decay - Naked 3
This palette was releised back last year, I know I'm a bit late. I over looked this one already loving my Naked 2 and thinking they looked pretty much the same. The more posts and swatches I was seeing persuaded me otherwise, the palette contains rose/taupe shades mainly being metalic which are absolutely gorgeous! 'NEED'

Marc Jacobs - Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight
New summer 2014 scent, i will admit I have no idea about the scent of this but Marc Jacobs is never wrong when it comes to pretty scents! I love this packaging! It's absolutley gorgeous! Would look so pretty on my vanity.

MAYBELLINE Dream Pure 8-in-1 BB Cream

Hi girls, I have finally pushed myself to switch up my daily full coverage foundation for something a little more natural for the summer months. All who know me well enough will know that this is a "dun dun dunnn!" moment at its best!

Since returning from my holiday in Spain I realised that exposing my skin to the sun had really taken it's toll on the way my skin looked and felt. My holy grail mac studio fix started to apply really cakey even after a light application & I've been getting these small raised bumps under my skin on my temples (not the slightest bit attractive) and My attempt to cover them over with foundation only resulted in them standing out more.

I have always passed up BB creams in the past being a more full coverage kind of girl. But I was helpless and my skin needed a break! I had a little scout around boots and came across Maybelline dream pure 8-in-1 BB Cream a blemish fighting BB that claims to..
1. Conceal imperfections
2. Helps protect against appearance of blemishes.
3. Oil-free, non-greasy.
4. Minimises the appearance of pores.
5. Clarifies the skins appearance.
6. Reduces redness.
7. Smoothes & hydrates.
8. Complements skin tone

This product contains 2% Salicylic Acid, the highest percent of blemish fighter used in a BB Cream. Yet the formula is gentle enough to use everyday. I would reccomend using a moisturiser before application as this product is oil free and can be quite drying when used alone.
Overall I feel a BB Cream is a perfect pick for summer and may have been converted to a more natural everyday look, I'm shocked at how lightweight it feels on my skin and don't feel as though my face will melt off when out in the sun! contains SPF 15 just like my mac studio fix and I'm in the shade Medium.

Makeup used;
- Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream (Medium)
- Bourjois healthy balance unifying powder (Light Beige)
- Benifit Hoola
- Clinique berry pop blush
- Sleek Rose Gold
- Beauty uk high brow
- L'OREAL miss manga mascara (Black)
- Eylure #156 lashes
- Mac magenta lip liner
- MUA lip lacquer (criminal)
- Rimmel moisture renew gloss
(Fuchsia Theraphy)

Have you tried Maybelline dream pure? or have any other BB recommendations
I would love to give them a try:)

I have acrylics done a lot of the time so as for mani's mainly salon, I shellac them myself along with pedicure love having pretty nails!

Not a scrap? No, makeup is like my comfort blanket! I couldn't go completely bare faced.

14. How many high end products do you have?
I think I own more high end products than drugstore, I'm a firm believer of quality over quantity when it comes to base products such as foundations/concealer, lipsticks are mostly high end picks for me too.

My nan would always call me a little dolly bird and still does now and here we have Dollybirdglam.

Pink.
26. Whats your favourite drugstore/high end makeup brand?
Drugstore - L'oreal / Elf
High End - Mac

Has to be skin care, im not the kindest to my skin at the minute.
need to get myself into some sort of routine! after all the key to makeup is having a good base to begin with.
28. How organised is your makeup/nail polish collection?
i am probably one of the most disorganised people ever when it comes to my makeup and nail polish collection at the minute, due to the fact i am currently having my beautyroom  renivated though i have big plans for my storage and organisation to come.
29. Why did you start blogging and how long have you been doing it for?
i started blogging due to my love for makeup, fashion & anything beauty related, my makeup collection is fast growing and what better way justify what i spend than to be able to share my passions and interests in the beauty community interacting with people who share the same interests and take an interest into what i have to say. i am pretty new on the blogging front, i have only been blogging for 3months and i wish now i had started sooner. I love learning things from other bloggers and on youtube and i hope that i am able to inspire people in the same way. blogging is definatly a hobby to me, something i can enjoy doing with my spare time to keep myself busy.

Hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about me and my blog, feel free to get involved! And leave any comments below:)

L'OREAL tecniART root spray mousse | VOLUME LIFT

During the last few years of working in a hair salon L'OREAL tecniART root spray mousse had to be mine and the other stylists go to hair product when it comes to creating volume. And was used on virtually every client on a daily. The product is so easy to work with, with it's small thin nosle for a more precise application directly on to the roots creating natural voluminous results, whilst preventing wastage and keeping the lengths of the hair cleaner for longer without weighing down the ends. This and a small amount of back combing is all limp hair needs for days of effortless flexible body! L'OREAL tecniART root spray moose is deffinatly a staple product that will never leave my hair styling routine. I've tried a good few but nothing compares! I use it on my own hair almost every time I blowdry. For best results apply (only to roots) to damp towel dried hair before styling. I get mine from my local salon retail warehouse RRP £8.99+vat which I believe works out around £10 and It's worth every penny!
I haven't known of this product to be sold in shops but you can purchase yours online HERE

Almost forgetting to mention they have recently changed up their packaging the pictures in this post being the 'new' packaging where as the product on the link appears to be the older one. Both will contain the same product to prevent confusion:)

Feel free to leave any comments and questions below if you have any♡
